Are you a Stansberry? We may be related! My grandfather was Homer Stansberry of Norfolk, Nebraska and my great grandfather was Edward from Maynard Iowa and was married to Blanche Barnes. My Stansberry relations come out of England to Ohio then to Iowa and on to Nebraska. We include a number of Georges and Isaiahs. Other surnames include Gibbon, Barnes, Welch.
My maternal grandmother was Lena Bell Kelly also from Nebraska with roots back through Missouri (the Ozarks). They trace back through Illinois, Tenn, and eventually to England. Surnames in her ancestry include, Black, Huggins, Forrester, Hinchcliff.
